What the jobs involve

We’re pleased to provide the opportunity for two students to join our teams on full time, fixed term contracts for the summer holiday period from November to February. You’ll gain professional experience working with our Operations and Roading teams on diverse project based work.

The Roading team is specifically looking for a Civil Engineering student to assist in capturing data and mapping footpaths, driveways, and parking areas in reserves, domains, and cemeteries. Meanwhile, the Operations and Projects team focuses on investigating medium and high-risk hazards according to Taumata Arowai drinking water quality rules.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates who are reliable and possess a positive attitude. Ideally, you’ll be studying towards an engineering degree, and you’ll need to be reliable and have a positive attitude. Whilst we’ll provide you the tools and instructions to complete the work, you’ll need to have an inquiring mind, initiative and an organised nature to ensure the projects are completed before your contract ends.
