What the job involves

This is a rare opportunity to take on a leadership role for a fixed-term period of 24 months, in a highly valued community space. As Library Manager, you'll be fiscally responsible for delivering innovative and inclusive library services that continue to grow community engagement and visitation. Sharing your passion, you will promote the importance of a vibrant community hub that fosters lifelong learning, cultural connection, and accessible information.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven leadership and people management experience, within a library or the wider GLAM sector.
  • A commitment to customer service excellence and community engagement.
  • A collaborative approach and an inquiring mind to build internal and external relationships and discover future opportunities.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
