What the job involves

As a Lifeguard, you’ll enjoy a varied role ensuring our customers are safe in the pools and the aquatic area is maintained to a high standard. With a team of dedicated Lifeguards and pool staff we offer a professional and fun environment that surpasses many other organisations.

 

We have the below Lifeguard shifts available in accordance with the Lifeguard roster: 

  • Monday:     3.30pm - 6.30pm
  • Friday:        5.30am - 2.00pm
  • Saturday:    9.00am - 12.00pm
  • Saturday:   12.00pm - 5.30pm
  • Sunday:      9.00pm - 12.00pm
  • Casual Shifts: If you are interested in gaining employment that works around your current commitments, without having to commit to set hours this week, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. If the above times don't work for you and your current commitments, please apply and state this in your application. 

Please indicate in your application which shifts you are applying for. There will be the potential to pick up additional shifts covering leave and events for those looking for more hours. 

 

Full training is provided at the commencement of employment and further ongoing development opportunities are available.

Who are we looking for?

You will hold or be willing to obtain a Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate (PLPC), be able to swim 200m in under 6 minutes and hold or be willing to obtain a first aid certificate. We are looking to appoint optimistic an enthusiastic team member with a can-do attitude, who are committed to providing a high level of service to our valued customers. You will have good, clear communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
