What the job involves

You’ll perform a range of tasks to keep our parks and reserves beautiful. Your time will be spent on a variety of amenity horticulture processes including planting, spraying, weeding, trimming, edging, and pruning. There will be some machinery operation including mowing on a number of different machines dependent on aptitude and licences or qualifications held.

Our standard working week is Monday to Friday, 8 hours each day starting at 7.30am. This position will provide a challenge, satisfaction, and an extremely large ‘backyard’.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for a friendly individual who is physically fit, has a can-do attitude, and enjoys working outdoors. Relevant experience isn’t necessary; team fit is the key element. Ideally, you will be a quick learner and have knowledge and experience completing general maintenance tasks.

You will be punctual and reliable with a full clean driver’s licence. Additional licences such as HT or WTR Endorsements are advantageous.
