What the job involves

As an experienced Gym Instructor, you will be helping people achieve their health and well-being goals, induct new customers to the facility and provide supervision, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all. You’ll proactively offer specialist advice to facility users of all ages and abilities, through fitness assessment and programme preparation and delivery.

 

The EA Network Centre Gym operates seven days per week. This position will offer a minimum of 13.5 hours up to 25 hours per week based on a six-week roster rotation. For the right person, this position could also open the door to further opportunities including personal training and group fitness instructing.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our fitness team.

 

To apply for this role you must:

  • Be genuinely passionate about health, fitness and well-being, and working with special population groups
  • Minimum Level 4 Certificate in Exercise
  • Be committed, reliable and get a kick out of helping people reach their health and fitness goals
  • Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
  • Possess a high level of fitness to demonstrate and instruct exercise techniques with an ability to think on the spot
  • Ideally be first aid qualified
