Where the Magic Happens:

Ashburton District Council is seeking an Events Advisor to lead the planning, coordination and delivery of Council's key civic and community events, while also driving opportunities to grow the district's event portfolio and reputation as a destination for events.

This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll oversee Council-led events, develop strategic partnerships, identify new event opportunities, support the growth of established events, and contribute to the economic and social vibrancy of the Ashburton District.

Working closely with the Economic Development team, community organisations, event organisers, sponsors and key stakeholders, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring events are delivered professionally, safely and successfully while creating lasting benefits for our district.
