What the job involves

This is a rare opportunity to step into a leadership role leading a team of professionals who play an important role in keeping our community safe. As Compliance & Community Safety Manager, you will be responsible for taking this high performing function to the next level. You’ll champion an education-based approach to facilitate pragmatic, safe and fair outcomes, including leading formal action when required.

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven leadership and people management experience, in a local government or similar environment, including management of contractors and contracts.
  • Technical or professional experience in a regulatory environment, with legal action experience being an advantage
  • A commitment to customer service excellence and community engagement.
  • A collaborative and curious approach to build internal and external relationships and to discover future opportunities.
