In this role, you'll help ensure Lake Hood continues to thrive as a place where people can live, play and connect. This is an opportunity to combine strategic thinking, practical delivery and relationship management in a role that truly matters.

What you'll be doing:

You'll lead environmental and infrastructure projects while working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver sustainable, long-term outcomes.

• Lead projects from planning through to successful delivery.
• Keep programmes on track by managing budgets, timelines and risks.
• Build trusted relationships with contractors, consultants, elected members, iwi and the community.
• Provide strategic oversight to support the long-term management of Lake Hood.
• Manage procurement and contracts to deliver quality outcomes and value for money.
• Champion a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture.

What you'll bring:

• A relevant tertiary qualification.
• At least five years' experience leading complex projects.
• Strong project, procurement and contract management experience.
• A sound understanding of relevant legislation, standards and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and financial management capability.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach with sound judgement and the confidence to navigate complexity.
