Lead from the front— you’ll be right on deck leading the flow of lessons and supporting both swimmers and instructors. This is a hands-on role where you’ll balance teaching, leadership, and customer connection to keep our programme running smoothly.
The hours for this position are:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
- Saturday: 8:30am – 12:00pm

You’re a confident swim teacher and natural leader who brings energy, positivity, and strong leadership to every shift.
- Previous swim instructor experience essential
- Ideally hold a recognised swim teaching qualification
- A natural leader who builds trust, motivates others, and brings out the best in their team
- Skilled at developing and maintaining positive, respectful working relationships
- A clear and confident communicator, able to connect with tamariki, adults, and whānau from all walks of life
- Supportive, approachable, and passionate about creating a positive team culture
