As a Lifeguard, you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team making sure everyone stays safe in the pool. You’ll help keep the aquatic area looking great, assist customers, and be a key part of the action at one of the district’s busiest and most exciting facilities. This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, build confidence, and gain practical skills that stay with you for life!

Who are we looking for?

You don't need to be a lifeguard already - we will train you! If you're a confident swimmer, have a positive attitude, and love working with people, this could be the perfect fit.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Keen to learn and grow
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and a great communicator
• A team player with a can-do attitude
• Ready to get certified in lifeguarding and first aid (we’ll help!)

To qualify to become a Lifeguard, you’ll need to swim 200m in under 6 minutes, complete key strokes, tread water for 5 minutes, and retrieve an object from deep water. If you are unsure about whether you can meet the swim requirements, please visit the EA Networks Centre and chat to our reception team to arrange a free trial swim.
