As a Lifeguard, you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team making sure everyone stays safe in the pool. You’ll help keep the aquatic area looking great, assist customers, and be a key part of the action at one of the district’s busiest and most exciting facilities. 

 

This is a great opportunity to earn while you learn, build confidence, and gain practical skills that stay with you for life.

 

We have a range of shift schedules (including part-time options) that fit around school, study, family commitments, or other life priorities. For a fulltime position, rostered shifts will be mutually agreed and will include 1 weekend day.

Who are we looking for?

You don't need to be a lifeguard already - we will train you! If you're a confident swimmer, have a positive attitude, and love working with people, this could be the perfect fit.

 

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Keen to learn and grow
  • Friendly, enthusiastic, and a great communicator
  • A team player with a can-do attitude
  • Able to swim 200m in 6 minutes
  • Ready to get certified in lifeguarding and first aid (we’ll help!)

 

Please note applicants will need to be at least 16 years old to apply, as this is the minimum age to enrol in the required qualifications.
